YO LO VI (EN LA RED) BY JOSHUA JOHNSON
A selection of twelve intricate etchings by Joshua Johnson, reproduced at actual size, depicting a series of beheadings, the result of actions by the organization known as ISIS. This small volume is a contemporary companion to The Disasters of War etchings by Francisco José de Goya y Lucientes.
Joshua Johnson was born in Clinton, Iowa, 1984. He received his BFA in Printmaking from the University of Iowa, and holds an MFA in Printmaking from Northern Illinois University. He currently lives and works in Illinois.
